About the event
What Does the Student Bring to Class?
- Container for water (e.g. yogurt container)
- Basic sewing kit (needle, thread, scissors)
- Pencil and eraser
- Apron
- Bag lunch
- Indoor shoes
A kit is included in the registration and includes the following:
- Class Notes
- Journal
- Journal cover pattern
- Large Fun Foam mat to work on
- Cotton and cotton blend fabrics - 17 pieces, 8 X 8”
- Container print mix
- Container of Sodium Alginate/Lemon Juice Mix
- Brushes (2)
- Sponge
- Eye dropper or pipette
- Scraper
- Needle & Thread
- Spray bottle
- Freezer Paper
- Parchment Paper
In addition, the following supplies will be available for use by all:
- Variously sized scrapers
- Thermofax screens*
- Stencils and masks*
- Measuring spoons
- Irons and heat gun
- Glue guns & glue sticks*
- Acrylic Sealer
If you have any of these items you wish to try, please bring them.
Additional supplies you will need to bring:
- Small container for water in which to soak brushes and sponges • Apron, gloves, table covering
- Paper towel
- Smile!
