About the event
Description
Bojagi (also known as Pojagi) is an ancient Korean art form. Women used to make wrapping cloths for storing and carrying household and personal items. In unlined bojagi patchwork, the seam is finished on both sides. This makes the piece reversible, with no right or wrong side. The art of bojagi is being revived.
In this course you will learn how to use a hera marker. A hera marker may be a new tool for you. This tool marks the fabric by making small creases. These creases are easy to see but disappear with time. You will learn how to mark your seams, hand sew in this style, and make a simple window “stain glass” wall hanging.
