About the event
Description
Use coloured wool fibres and other surface materials to create unique wet-felted landscapes that can become wall art or be incorporated into clothing, pillows, etc.
Start with making a “sampler” to work on basic felting techniques and experiment with surface fibres. Next, “paint” with wool fibre to create a felt landscape. Follow a basic project design, or bring a picture of your own landscape.
Fay will discuss techniques to embellish your work such as stitching and beading and ways to use or display your work. This Workshop is perfect for beginners or more experienced felters who would like to experiment with landscape designs. Finished piece approximately 8” X 10”.
