Using traditional Japanese goldwork techniques, embroidery tools and fibres we create a small 8 cm X 10 cm teapot on a silk and wool blend of kimono fabric.
Techniques covered include transparent paper design transfer, laying '#3' gold threads and katayori in a 'to and fro' as well as round and round, line of held thread and creating a sinking needle.
