About the event
Description
Have you ever looked at those beautifully colored flowers and wondered how to capture their beauty? In this class we will use fresh flowers and light-colored fabrics to create new images on fabric. Krista Zeghers will walk you through her process where you can use a mallet/hammer and pound out some beautiful creations. Krista lives in rural Manitoba, Canada and has been creating fibre art works for the past decade. She belongs to three professional groups: Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA) an international group; Textile and Fibre Artists of Manitoba group; and the Mavericks, an Arizonan group, that all support her in her continued growth as an artist. Krista’s travels and nature inspire her artwork.
